When: October 22 Kickoff at 3:00 PM
Location: This is a virtual event website and Microsoft Teams links will be sent to students selected to participate.
Prompt: Tata Consultancy Services’ Pitch for Purpose competition with the Cincinnati Innovation District is an innovation challenge in which students in multidisciplinary teams of 4 will create a solution to a social impact problem. This challenge will focus on tech-based innovations to empower communities in a theme area (food security, disaster response, healthcare, education, financial inclusion, and digital access).
Innovation challenges are set up like a sprint to quickly generate ideas and solutions and allow participants to gain feedback and help develop their solutions. In student challenges, companies and organizations can see the talent provided by students and see how they collaborate with others, similar to how they would in an internship.
Pitch for Purpose will allow students to get connected with experts from leading organizations their theme area and learn from their experience to become the next generation of social impact catalysts.
