Our Makerspace is the most advanced makerspace in the region. It's accessible to UC students and faculty, 1819 corporate and startup partners and the greater community of builders, inventors and prototypers.
Whether you're working on capstones for class, finishing up a personal project or engaging in the partnerships that emerge in 1819, the UC Ground Floor Makerspace nurtures research, exploration and the creation of new ideas and products.
We offer a range of tools for fabrication, experimentation and prototyping. Access levels include self-use, guided use, certification-only use and staff-operated-only tools.
