Makers In Education

Makers in Education Program for Teachers

We invite applications from in-service teachers to join at the UC Makerspace for a two-week intensive followed by an optional six weeks of free Makerspace membership. Through hands-on, maker-centered learning we willl foster the maker mindset of in-service teachers as a force multiplier in STEM/STEAM education.

The Makerspace intensive will harness teachers' existing experiences and develop new skills while designing and making a project of personal significance. Participating teachers will leave with enhanced confidence, skills, resources and ideas to nurture the maker culture in the classroom!
