Access to any of the shops in the UC Ground Floor Makerspace requires an active membership. The makerspace is open to all makers, entrepreneurs and hobbyists 18 years and older.

UC community memberships
Membership is available at no cost to:
- current UC students, faculty and staff
- Cincinnati Innovation District/1819 Innovation Hub partners
- UC alumni for up to six months graduation
- graduates of the Venture Lab pre-accelerator program within one year of graduation
Getting started
- Log in to the member portal using your UC credentials.
- Attend an Orientation to activate your membership.
External memberships
Paid monthly memberships are available for members of the public including makers, entrepreneurs, and hobbyists that are 18 years old and above.

Getting started
- Create an account: Enter the necessary information and click submit. A confirmation email will be sent.
- Login to the Portal: read and consent to our member agreement.
- Attend an Orientation and select the appropriate membership tier to activate your membership. Membership fees must be paid in person via credit or debit card. We do not accept cash or checks.
- Purchase the External Membership: The membership fee must be paid in-person at the time of the orientation. Accepted forms of payment are credit and debit cards only. We do not accept cash or check.
